Is he mentally sick?
Most of the times he was being interviewed he looked like someone who was going through alzeheimers or is he mentally sick?

Probably. He probably snapped from a lifetime of people who supposedly cared about him, trying to shake him down and blackmail him because he's rich. What state do you think you would be in after 50 years of that?
share70 years of that. I also want to know more about his Mother. I mean he sees her on the roof and his father says "say hello to Mommy." and then she jumps? I feel like there is something about those early years we are missing.

Well, I decided to say 50 years because I can't imagine him getting shaken down for money as a child. I imagine he went to a school for children of the wealthy. But, who knows.

Poor little rich boy - give me a break. Who cares? Its one of the problems of being rich. Just like there are problems with being poor. The poor are expected to deal with their problems. Surely the rich can deal with theirs.
There are a lot of rich people in the world. They don't go around killing people or losing their minds. His mother suffered depression. Mental illness is can be inherited. Next his upbringing after mommy died, was as probably as loving and warm as Antarctica. The rich don't become rich because they are warm, giving, and kind-hearted. Also, he supposedly has Asperger's. One of the symptoms is being unable to socially interact with others. He clearly states he doesn't want no like to do those things. If anything his personality should have kept him from people and their trying to shake him down. Next, don't marry a commoner. Marry someone even richer than you. That might prevent to some level of getting shaken down. Yeah, people are greedy, everyone knows that.

Also, as to the question "is he mentally sick?" I just found out that he had neuro surgurey very recently as one news story states, and has a new pic of him in court from today or yesterday and he has the top of his head shaved and a huge scar on the right side of his head. And him receiving pain meds in prison was discussed in court. So, there you go, a brain tumor could explain his facial tics and mumbling to himself.
shareI read that one of the reasons of Durst's sometimes strange behavior (way he talks, his tics) might be a symptom of the Aspergers Syndrome (mild form of autism)he is suffering from.
His head surgery to relieve fluids from his brain obviously left him with even more neurological issues.
