Worth upgrading to the Blu-Ray from DVD?

I am watching this series again for the fourth time, streaming it on HBO on Demand. But I wanted to invest in a copy of my own. So I was wondering if there are any significant differences between the Blu-ray and the DVD releases. Any different packaging? Any different content in terms of extras or whatnot? I LOVE this show, but I generally only go DVD for most documentaries. And, I do have this on DVD. Is it worth upgrading?

Any thoughts, advice, or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Hey cyro,
You may have made your choice by now, but I thought I'd chime in to say that no, there's nothing on the Blu-ray that isn't already on the DVD. No extras of any kind.

Since the documentary (brilliant as it is) is mostly just people talking, I'd think there's nothing in it, really, that needs higher definition, to give value to the cost of upgrading. (Unless, like me, you just prefer HD. )

You might very well think that. I couldn't possibly comment.
