was it ever discussed what happened to morris black's head? I remember them saying it was missing, but was it ever found? What do you think durst did with it?

No, the head was never found, had it been they would've likely be able to conclude if it really was an accident or pre-meditated murder. I'm guessing he burnt it.

Yes, this was strange that the question of what he did with the head was never asked in the programme - he must have been asked at his trial, as the condition of the head (what wounds it suffered) were extremely relevant to his assertion that the gun went off once by accident and shot the victim in the face.
