I watched this on Netflix because Tom Hanks was starring in it.What a disappointment. This film is just an extended episode of Black Mirror. Bad ending.

There's no reveal of what nefarious misdeeds they were up to (if anything), and wtf is with the ending?
Yeah it's almost as if the screenwriter ran out of time and just ended it. I was completely lost on how all the character arcs changed after the kayak accident. Lots of disjointed plot points.
