Da what? What happened on June 8?
shareA certain regular poster posted something like "What is everyone's thoughts on the movie Terrifier (2018)?" in General Chat. So I posted this parody post in response on the same day for two reasons.
1. To be a snarky asshole and shine light on a slightly lame practice of starting a discussion in General that could/should have brought traffic to an obscure movie's forum.
And 2. To actually bump the movie in question on the same day so that maybe my snipe somehow helps promote the discussion that OP sought. Y'know ... a "right fucking HERE!" post.
It doesn't work after the same day. I intended to delete this but it wasn't a worthwhile enough effort for even me to remember to clean up afterward. Now with this explanation glued to it, it will live on, failing to benefit nor bedevil anyone.
Okay. Lol. Good thinking.
I wouldn't call "Terrifier" obscure though. It left a strong impact on me. It's an excellent film and I hate slasher flicks as a rule.
And I've found that regardless the film, if you post it, others will come.
I actually thought that Art The Clown was a decent slasher villain.
I saw this once when it first came out, but the scene in the diner stuck with me. He played it with immense charisma. Also one of the deaths, and I bet people who have seen it now which one I mean, stuck with me too.
Whether it's scary or not is open to subjective to the individual. But this was a really enjoyable movie for me.
