Unwatchable, for now. But what about Reggie Watts?

I've seen two episodes of The Late Late show and right now, I can't watch it. Corden is not a good enough interviewer to handle two guests at the same time, the skits aren't funny, the monologue isn't either, and he has no delivery. I hope he gets better at all of the above, or changes the format to suit his style.

One thing that has been somewhat overlooked is Reggie Watts. He's a funny guy and must be there for a reason. Hopefully, he and Corden will build up a report, so Watts can be the sidekick Josh Robert Thompson was for Craig. But I've seen no attempts at bantering between them, which doesn't bode well. Maybe they just doesn't have the chemistry.

I'll be back in a couple of months. Hopefully it's better by then.

I feel badly for Reggie getting wrapped up in this mess. I wish they would have used Reggie as one of the interim guest presenters before Corden's show began, so people could see just how funny and talented Reggie really is. Corden is the same as he has always been: nothing special, and if the show is a failure I don't want it to take Reggie down with it.
