What Ray Kroc did to the McDonald brothers was hands down treacherous. Oh and that handshake deal that he turned his back on? Please! Not to mention how he ditched his wife. Ray Kroc is a prime example of how to succeed in business and lose friends, family and ethics while at it.

The food is still delicious. In fact I would even go so far as to say that:

French Fries
Shakes
Burgers
Apple Pies
Cookies
Sodas
Just to give my favorites.
There are no foods much better than McDonalds.

After learning what a crook Ray Kroc was, though, I'm not sure I can justify eating there anymore. I bet his family still gets a lot of money from the business.

shareListen, he tried to do business the right way but the McDonalds bros would rather work a grill their entire lives. He still gave them their dream though. To see the golden arches go coast to coast as an all American fixture. That's all they wanted. They didn't want money. So don't get upset over it. If they were about the money, they would have gone along with Ray's requests and also asked for a higher percentage from the franchise fees. But nope, they'd rather just run their own burger stand like the control freaks they are.
You can't expect to keep holding someone down and then expect loyalty. If someone is busting their ass expanding the company and can't even break even financially, something is really wrong and needed to be fixed. They refused to fix it so they left Ray no choice. That's THEIR fault. It's like letting Benny Blanco live because of some moral high ground and then not expecting it to blow up in your face later. It's just total disrespect for the nature of man and what he's capable of when he's pushed into a corner.
They certainly were naive but they were honest, hardworking men who just wanted their business to be honest in all ways too. Unfortunately, honest didn't make the sort of money that Ray Kroc was looking for and so he pulled it all out from under them!
