Heard good things about this film but after watching it last night , have to say it left me really disappointed :(

Thought it was gona be different , interesting place to set the story but that was about it ...

Typical boring jump scare tactics again , stubborn unbelieving main character who doesn't react in the way someone in real life would to the situations she finds herself in ... God she was so frustrating in her stupidity , not believing in the bloody obvious and the way she would constantly put her own child in mortal danger !

And although i don't mind a slow burner of a movie , there has to be some satisfying original payoff in the last third to make whats came before worth sitting through .... and this film definitely did not have anything original in it to merit such a slow slow build up !

I'm starting to believe that when critics and non horror fans praise an horror movie, it is highly likely that it will be a dissapointment. This overrated film is an example

I haven't watched much of this movie yet, but I did notice that Netflix apparently defaults to dubbing rather than subbing foreign titles, and in this case, the English dubs are really bad. I tried switching between Persian and English audio in a few places and just the sound of the voice actors was like I had switched from a drama to a sitcom.
