Miranda in Chains

This movie was really good, but it had a few plot holes. One big one that I haven't seen yet is the fact that no haunted house would really chain up an actor like they did Miranda. (That last-minute decision to cut her dress was weird too.) The cuffs she was in would have been large enough to slip out of in case of an emergency or even simply to rest her arms when no visitors were around. The fact that the writers if this movie wanted the audience to think that the owners of the haunted house would really lock and chain Miranda with no emergency escape especially considering the events that took place beforehand was pretty cheap.

Well, as ill advised as it is, the clown in the basement had the keys to the cuffs. It's mentioned right before they open, right when they're making sure everything is in place.

They ask her if she's ok, and then ask him if he's got the keys to her cuffs.

They kinda did cover their asses. I mean, not totally, but at least they DID think of adding that in.

Yeah that stuck out to me as well. There is zero chance or reason that would happen. And I don't even think it played into the plot at all.
A ghoul popped up in front of her quickly so she wouldn't have escaped had she been free.
No human could have been expected to hold their arms in that position for hours of non-stop passers-by.
