The Fly by another name? The concept sounds the same anyway!

if fly was a gender of movie on its own (lets call it transformation fest) then this one would fit right in.
yea, idk why should it be considered a fly rip-off, I mean there has been plenty of such movies, doesn't mean they don't have the right of being loved, just because the idea wasn't completely original. I mean yeah, the fly flim came first, but still that was a time where originality in movies was achieved easier than today, just because all many ways have not been exploited yet and just waiting to happen. However I do believe originality can still be achieved today with some more effort put into the scripts.
