Cleveland cops taking all the credit for the rescue of the girls!

Amanda saved herself and the other girls, if she didn't bust out with the help of the neighbors, it's likely they would all still be there! All the cops did was come and pick them up after she called 911! The cops are taking all the credit for "cracking the case" and finding them! They were kidnapped for years and the cops had no good leads and the girls were all but forgotten!
Amanda saved them not the cops!

I don't think the cops were trying to take the "glory" in saving them. She was very, very brave to have done what she did. I think a lot of the credit should also go to the neighbors, particularly the man who helped tear the door down. Very brave man.

I live in Cleveland, and these low life cops were repeatedly told about screams coming from the house by neighbors; did they bother to check? NO!!! They outright blew this case!! Then they had the guts to give themselves metals in a ceremony at city hall....with Ramsey and Cordero, the REAL two hero's that aided in Amanda's rescue ignored!!!!

All the cops did at the end was come when Amanda called 911. The cops are acting like their the heros.

I watched the documentary after the movie. When the cops kept saying that "we found them, we found them" I felt they were phrasing it wrong. You did not find them you responded to a call. The end.
