So far, it opens with Michelle playing with her son, she leaves him with her mom, goes to look for a job, can't get one b/c she doesn't have a high school diploma, comes home to find her mom has left her son with some random guy, he tries to attack her, her son tries to protect her and the man throws him across the room. Then, at the hospital they conclude it was abuse and not falling off a slide like she said and take him away. She then has to make a court date, her mom doesn't show up to take her, she takes off walking, gets lost, realizes she has 30 minutes to get there but meets Ariel and he tells her it is 45 minutes to walk, offers to take her, she accepts. In the truck he makes up a reason about some puppies to take her to his house, lures inside and then attacks her. He hog ties her up, explains he wants someone to fill the void his wife leaving left. And then he like raises her off the ground tied up like that forever to the point she pees in that position and it goes to commercial. I will update the rest when it comes back :)

Also very weird that I never heard someone saw her when she went into the house, she waved at a neighbor in the movie as she walked in, curious if that actually happened?

That part threw me off and thought there were no witness to Michelle kidnapping?

Lara Croft Himiko! The First Sun Queen! This is Yamatai.

reply

Yeah because you think they had to at least run one picture of her on the news but her family was the only family that did not actively search for her so I guess it makes sense that neighbor might have never saw anything about it necessarily.

reply

Is that how he kidnapped her? Did he work in a store and she went in and asked him for directions? I was thinking it was something else.

reply

I am pretty sure that is how it happened, all the girls willingly got in his car unfortunately. Michelle had the most reason to trust him because she was actually friends with his daughter so she knew him vaguely through her as they said in that scene.

reply

I think you mean Gina

This is how their autobiographies portray this as well. Michelle accounts for the neighbor seeing her as well. So sad

Next part to break:

Comes back to Ariel taking Michelle down from her position, he tries to feed her than literally drags her down the stairs to the basement, he rapes her, than he chains her up, puts a helmet on her and tells her that her family think she has run off and no one is looking for her. He tells her he is all she has. Castro's mom comes and they are talking while Michelle is trying to scream and bring attention to her, she gets her hand untied just as Castro comes down and he laughs at her. He feeds her and she lets him. He has friends over to play musis, they are laughing and joking, then it switches to him raping Michelle, she has bruises all over her, he starts crying on her and she tries to show empathy to for him. She holds his hand and tries to reason with him about what if someone did it to his daughter, and he should let her go. He says that's a good idea, and carries her upstairs but just takes her to a different bedroom, she gets angry and defeated and he says maybe he will let her go at Christmas and then break

Also, she is 21 in the movie, Castro said he thought she was 15 in the earlier part of the movie when he first took her, forgot to mention that.

Why don't you just tape it later? It took longer to write that then it will to watch it!

reply

It really didn't take me no time to type it at all. I always answer questions like these bc I hate when I ask them on tv shows that don't repeat and no one answers me LOL

reply

Thank goodness for posters like you! I also hate when I post questions and get no answers. So I try to be helpful when I can as well.

reply

Seriously though thank god for posters like you! I'm on a road trip from Georgia to Massachusetts and I'm staying overnight in Virginia so I couldn't record it since I'm in a hotel. Unfortunately I didn't make it there until about 20 minutes ago so I missed the whole movie *sigh*

reply

This will be replayed, multiple times, as I'm sure it will be a hit!

reply

I get so annoyed when I post on a thread with questions and no one answers haha so thank you for taking the time to do that
