Joan Rivers mocked Victims of Cleveland Abduction

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2611738/Ohio-women-held-captive-seek-Joan-Rivers-apology.html

How can anyone mock or make jokes about the hell these poor women went through? Completely Heartless.

reply

....That disgusting pile of turd!!!!

reply

Pretty much why I had no sympathy when she died.

reply

Same here. She was a horrible person.

reply

Absolutely, I never liked her before. That just topped it off.

reply

My exact thoughts ^

reply

God rest her soul, but Joan Rivers couldn't care less - never really listened to her.

reply

I can remember my grandmother saying way back in the '70's that she didn't like Joan Rivers. Grandmas know best!

reply

The joke was in poor taste. But that's what it was. A joke. Joan Rivers made a living telling jokes and even her biggest fans didn't always agree with her. But she was funny and if you can't laugh at life then you have some serious issues.

reply

There are just some things you don't laugh at

The Holocaust
Rape
Jokes about real tragedies

reply

I really dont think Holocaust jokes are funny, Anne Frankly i find them tragic.

Oh, You forgot 9/11.

9/11 jokes are just plane wrong...on so MANY levels.

reply

You missed the joke in that line 😝

Have you ever stared fear and danger in the eye and said; YES?

reply

Sorry its not a joke when some mock 9/11 and the Cleveland kidnapped victims who went through hell 24/7 getting rape and beaten on a daily basis.

Joan might've felt a little differently about it if Melissa had been kidnapped & held as someone's sex slave for a decade.

reply

I've seen this same response from other idiots. Nothing funny about this story. Nothing funny ever came out of that dead cow's mouth period

reply

Joan Rivers never ever had any sense, class, talent, looks, or brains! How she ever ended up on tv with that constant "diareah" of the mouth is totally beyond me! Her poor husband endured her for years, he finally committed suicide, the poor guy, her daughter is humiliated by her and she poisoned and tainted everything and everyone she spoke of. It was NOT a joke it was more of her ignorant mouth. I never liked her, but I did feel badly when she died. I just learned she made this comment, had it been HER daughter or granddaughter it would not of been said. I knew she was mean but never realized she could be so uncaring and brutal. These girls survived hell.

reply

I remember hearing one of Joan's last "jokes" She died soon after that. I thought well I won't miss her. Tacky thing. It also occurred to me the monster who took these girls committed suicide. Just like Joan's own husband Edgar. Wonder it she'd think that was "funny" too.......

I have a really broad sense of humor that often is very biting or dark. I get many laughs from the likes of Louis C.K., Ricky Gervais, Jim Jeffries, Sarah Silverman, and Kathy Griffin.

I sometimes get offended by jokes my favorite comedians say. Some topics are just off-limits. There are some jokes that are, not just in poor taste, but the lowest of the low. Rivers was absolutely disgusting for those statements. I had found her mildly humorous in the past, but I will not forget this. It makes me feel like, "good riddance, you vile, plasticky wretch." Yeah, how would that *beep* have felt if Melissa or her grandchild was missing? *beep* A.

reply

If this had happen to Melissa or one of Joan grandchildren she would be singing a different tune and there are some jokes I like and think their funny but when someone jokes about rape, 9/11 and kidnapped victim that draw the line and uncall for
