shareThat was awful....I really hope that didn't really happen :( That being said, that dog is probably better off, I'm sure he would have tortured it for years.
shareI am not saying this was a domestic violence situation, it was so far beyond anything like that, but it is common for abusers to hurt or kill family pets in order to maintain control. After a while Michelle was willing to risk her own well-being but she loved the dog and killing the dog hurt her so much worse than anything he could do to her.
shareI know the potential for spoilers and you are supposed to know before reading threads here. In this case I am glad I looked ahead, as I am watching this on my DVR and will know to fast forward when this scene comes up. This movie is already hard enough to watch.
