Coincidence?...3 daughters = 3 victims

Anyone else find it odd that Castro chose a friend of each daughter to kidnap torture and maybe in Castro's sick mind, each girl represented the daughter each girl knew and this is why he stalked and targeted Michelle, Amanda and Gina? Even Michelle was probably stalked and targeted and not chosen randomly since she knew Emily.

I have wondered this after reading an interview with Emily. Castro seemed to go overboard with making sure they covered up in front of him, even making his daughters wear underwear in the shower.

I got the feeling he was trying to resist raping his own daughters. Emily was supposedly diagnosed with manic depression at 13 yrs old and Castro was shocked that Michelle was not 15 and he repeatedly called her retarded and stupid. Maybe this is how he felt about Emily's illness. It also sounds like Angie was his favorite daughter and Amanda apparently was his favorite too.

I just found it odd and also in the movie he told Michelle that his *itch wife took his children and left. Just being armchair psychologist here but I really do find it a strange coincidence
