I never met a bunch of characters I cared nothing about.
My understanding is that this season was to close out the movie, so what's in store for Julian in S2. He'll assist Sunday's character in solving crime? He'll show us how he uses his manipulation skills to solve problems of his clients while banging. Like honestly, where does this plan to go?
This is a dead fish floating in a tank. Showtime can do some top-class stuff, like Yellowjackets, and some real dead ends, like this. The only engaging character is the black guy with the mouth full of teeth. It’s not easy to make sex boring, but American Gigolo manages to pull it off.

shareIt took on such a "lifetime Network" feel instead of what Showtime usually puts out so I found myself liking detective Sunday more than I expected. He was easy on the eyes, but the storyline was tedious and predictable. I doubt there will be a season 2.
