There was a time not too long ago when I would hear about this kind of movie coming from Ridley Scott and get excited. Not anymore. So many movies are spoiled now by political subtexts and historical accuracy-killing wokeism. It really, truly sucks.

I guess its savvy of Ridley to mashup #metoo with the historical epics he's known for. I'm a little wary, but glad to see Ridley hasn't hung up his directors bullhorn for good yet.
