After the 2 year hiatus when Sheridan was full of himself and Costner quit the final season was flat out rushed and horrible.its a shame cause this was a great show if only Sheridan concentrated on it instead of making 78 spinoffs.i liked windriver Tulsa king and loved this show until the last season which looked like he went to a high school drama club and found a kid and said finish the script and I'll take you out to see my horseys at the 6666 😭😭😭😭

I think most of the blame falls on Costner. his ego got the best of him because of his Horizon project. he could have sucked it up and finished filming and concluded what was a great western series. the ending was atrocious and pretty much ruins the previous 4 seasons.
