Should really include Frank Castle

He's worked alongside virtually everyone here at some point or another including the Marvel Knights series (Which was okay...). He's also "romanced" Elektra more than a few times. The guy isn't a team-player but he is the greatest tactician (By far) in any of the line-up and he's on-par with guys like Batman and Captain America when he's at his absolute best and no longer in "year one" mode.

Edit: I may have a bias cuz eyepatch-wearing solidarity but I want a NON-FORCED Nick Fury inclusion. Fury isn't retired unless things in CW change that status. He would want to closely watch a group of people with guys like Luke Cage and Jessica Jones in the mix, he could also have a past with Frank Castle or some kind of tie-in. We know that this Frank has done some high-level black ops stuff.

Defenders script was done before they decided to do a Punisher series. I'm sure they're working him into the show somehow now though.

I could see Frank possibly making a heroic entrance during the final battle. Maybe finally wielding that mini-gun that all the promos showed him with, but all he did was walk away with it.

which promos? can you link an image? thanks!

Coulson is the head honcho of SHIELD nowadays. If anyone should up, it would be him.

As for Punisher, if they make it work, that's swell, but I don't want them to put him in just for the sake of putting him in. He has to make sense. Castle is not the superhero type and has no desire to run around with the likes of Daredevil and Luke Cage since they try to work with the system at least somewhat. Frank has no faith in the system. The feeling would be mutual as three of the four Defenders are pretty much anti-killing (we'll have to wait to see how Danny Rand feels about killing bad guys, but it seems like he'd be opposed to it) and would be appalled to work with him.
