they're suppose to start filming before the end of the year

and with only 8 episodes instead of the 13, then it shouldn't be but 3 months maybe 4 tops. so maybe we see it next summer or early FALL.

Seems like they put a series out once every six or seven months. September will be when Cage comes out. Iron Fist will probably be March or April, which means we can expect Defenders to drop next September or October.
