It is supposedly heading into production by end of the year. Only 8 eps instead of the usual 13 so it's a quicker production.
Might we see it sometime next summer? Or do we truly have bad luck and won't see it til Fall of next year?
They tend to do one series every six months. Cage is coming next week and Iron Fist will probably be in the spring so Defenders should be after the summer.
shareit'd be so much easier if they finally start with 3 series a year but looks like that might finally happen in 2018
sharePretty annoying to have to wait 6mos in between shows. I mean it's a give and take, you can binge watch the shows right away, but you get half of the shows a network show has in a season... but I get 6-8 months of a show on network TV. So while I thoroughly enjoy the Netflix shows much more than anything on network TV, I'd like the shows to either have more episodes or be more frequent in their releases. They're half the number of episodes and come out with much more time between the shows than do network shows.
