I understand she was lonely (she even wanted to buy a drink for the barkeeper), she felt she could use an advanture with these guys. Until some point it's okay

But goddamn girl, what the *beep* has gotten into you, getting into criminal things for assholtes you know for an hour? Are you kidding me? There is no way anyone would EVER act so idiotic and just go along with the stuff which got crazier with every situation.

Why did the makers need to do such a far stretched storyline, which really counts on the viewer, that he should just accept what he's seeing, without thinking. And it even sort of works, because when I said "Okay, just accept that she doesn't make any sense at all", it was more enjoyable.

I wished they could've just gotten a bit lower with the Bonny and Clyde stuff, because it was just too much, to believe

I've done similar things after just knowing someone for a couple hours. It's not that hard to believe especially after you're a little drunk or on drugs

Yes--and apart from the drinking and drugs, I thought it was entirely believable that she would have made the choice to go along. The conversation in the café, about her life crisis over the failure to succeed with the piano career, helped give her some emotional motivation to jump into something risky and wild.

You would' ve done similar?It's nothing to brag about. Poor choices lead to bad things and regret. Hard to respect someone who makes decisions like this.

her behaviour is not hard to believe at all, in fact it was very realistic, especially considering she was drunk and on drugs. It all seemed very believable and realistic to me. In underground nightlife these things (I don't mean the robbery but the behaviour) are actually very common. I've seen it a lot.

Being alone or lonely has made people do things to make themselves fit in.

Especially when they have nothing to lose (did she even care about going back to her apartment?), lack of self control (partying and drinking by herself till 4am then leaving with 4 men she didn't know), desperation (she was more then willing to assist the robbery quartet.

I bet now she will know what that piano teacher was trying to explain was lacking in her musical skills!

(After that I feel so sorry for myself cry)



Almost as retarded as frisking someone, only to give them loaded guns afterwards. I really don't know who was the most retarded. She for joining them, or they for putting their lives into the hands of someone unknown to them.

But I guess that was the charm of the movie. Stupid decisions make entertaining and intriguing movies.

So this movie was entertaining and intriguing for you? Did you watch Blue Ruin yet? It is decent. However the Revenant with Leo Decaperio is senseless mumbo jumbo... 

I assumed they were frisked for recording devices, not weapons. When you force someone into a crime, supply them with firearms, rehearse it, and the give them illegal drugs you probably don't want to be counter-blackmailed.

I know what you mean but I think they did a good job making her seem lonely, sheltered and innocent.

Remember when she said she had been at the music school and how she lived like a monk or a nun. She had a very strange childhood and I think her inability to perceive the danger the guys presented was part of that. It was like a clash of two very different civilisations. She was the opposite of street smart and it was only recently that she had been rejected from taking her career as a concert pianist to the next level.

i wouldn't recommend this movie to people who've never been lonely in their lives, you'd be surprised the length people would go to to fit in

the feeling of loneliness can become very strong after a while

so many movies, so little time

I thought it was quite realistic but I agree, what she did wasn't worth the effort just to avoid being lonely but of course, that may differ depending the person.
