And i don't mean like Birdman where it 'appears' to be in one shot but changes scenes by the camera being blocked by an object.
I'm talking like Victoria, all done in one complete take.
I'd be interested to see other films like this to see if it's the story or purely the choice of the director that causes the 'one take' decision

This film reminded me of a Spanish film called "kidnapped". It is not one take but the overall story, atmosphere, style and cinematography have a lot of resemblances.

I've also been keeping a list of movies that appear to be in one take. Most aren't really shot that way, which doesn't concern me for that list, but it'd be a starting place if you wanted to look for more. As I watch them, I make some comments about story etc. Some of them I have seen but long enough ago I wanted to re-watch before writing anything.

shareI saw an Iranian movie that was done like this, about two or three years ago, I don't remember the title but technically it was an even greater achievement than Victoria because they kept changing the setting and time period, similar to Russian Ark I guess although this Iranian movie was filmed outside; just so impressive.
