shareBecause Nicola Walker is so good and I always thought she was the key to the series. But having said that the team has established itself and Sanjeev Bashkar is pretty good as well.
ITV have already announced there will be a fifth series so I guess they believe there is a sound foundation to keep building on - fingers crossed they don't screw it up.
I thought the same thing - that it was the end of the series. I must say that I'm annoyed that they decided to kill her off. Why not just let her retire?? Season 5 isn't on PBS yet. I happen to be re-watching series 3 right now. Very disturbing, still.
