I actually had the perp figured out, although I didn't guess the depth of his crimes.
One thing I thought was a little off, was at the very end, during the "3 months later" part, why was the funeral held so long after the death? I know there can be delays, but I couldn't fathom a reason why, in this case, it would be.
I believe the delay was due in part to what the mother said about being ready to move to a new place where she and the surviving daughter could live together and have a good life and new memories. Both indicated that they wanted to bring the victim's remains (now recovered) with them, to somewhere beautiful, so they could visit her. But that would have to wait until they knew where they were going and that was settled. Having lived in England and moved house, that's not always a quick process! :-)
shareLoose end, not sure if it was intended or if they addressed it and i missed it: but plot wise, was wondering if the season 3 perpetrator also might have stolen the credit card # used to visit those sordid web sites which then wrongly implicated the friend who was put under a cloud of suspicion at his then advertising company?
