Didn't you read " Jamie Dornan proving he is more then CG"/ "Jamie Dornan performance was convincing"/ "Jamie Dornan characters Jan was bash ful & romantic" Etc. You stuck with one reviews which say "he was stiffer then fifty but its required in some scene." Of course Cillian is amazing actor but guess what Jamie also get praised You always on hating on everyone Get a life loser. Oh its got Standing Ovation for more then 5 minutes. Or maybe you're just super hard on the poor guy for being in such crap like Fifty. Because fifty shouldn't even be what people use to criticize him considering no matter who was in it, I guarantee it would've still be horribl. Criticize him for other roles, Fifty isn't even a necessary place in the film industry. It was a cash crop, nothing more. I saw potential in him in his show The Fall. I haven't seen anything else, so I think with a better script and Director he could go places. I think he's better off for being judged for taking such a crap role in h first place but even then he wouldn't be the first or last. Plenty of well known actors, Oscar winners, nominees, etc have started off on an even more worse foot then him and they turned out fine. I feel like you're not here to have a serious discussion on e matter, you just like to get some people worked up, which is what a troll is. So I am going to leave this here.
shareDornan has nothing to prove. His acting skills are wonderful. Everything I've seen, The Fall, Once Upon a Time, FSOG, (yes, I include this as well, people who've made the comment about his lack of emotion, etc., did NOT under the character or the story and the fact that the parts of this movie that do show real emotion by Dornan were left on the cutting room floor and can only be seen on uTube, (The Rave, X-Returns, both are film shorts), I didn't include Racing Hearts only because this was earlier in his career and his Irish accent occasionally bleeds through, shows a young actor who's skill grow with everything he done. This is really not a criticism however, because I know in my personal life how hard it is for an adult to change the way he speaks his entire life to something else. My own mother spoke, wrote and read three languages fluently, however, she could never quite rid herself of her birth accent.
Did he take a risk with FSOG, yes, but a calculated one that I think will ultimately turn out in his favor. Until that movie he widely unknown in the US. Once the entire trilogy is complete people should wait to judge.
