What's with all the pro-Nazi comments here?
While I get the fatigue with (yet) another WWII movie showing how bad the Nazis were (while the far worse soviets are left nicely alone and forgotten, maybe because they ended on the winning side), most of them seem from straight-up neo Nazis.
I mean, sure Reinhard Heydrich was an incredibly proficient soldier, but what did you expect? You don't get to those positions unless you're cut out for it. I'm pretty sure most if not all counterparts in Russia/USA/France/England/etc would be similar formidable persons.
But this guy you know, he was one of those that if you saw straight into his eyes, you would see nothing but darkness (how George Jung described his first meeting with Pablo Escobar).
Not exactly the best candidate to cling to to bring up WWII's wrongs committed by the Allies (meaning the soviets). The Pianist does a very good job of that already (how the SS officer whom saved the pianist and in fact countless other Jews got a death by torture reward from his soviet captors at the end).
This REALLY isn't the guy to defend, in any way/shape or form.
If you think guys like him are needed to defend Europe against the Islamic invasion/threat you better get a history lesson, for many in Europe thought like that of Hitler regarding Communism (that he was the only force standing up against it, thus the lesser evil). That didn't exactly turn out too well...
