Am I supposed to believe that an armed escort is going to be behind the person they are protecting and someone is sitting there with a stopwatch counting down 30 seconds before they are allowed to follow the car they are protecting?
shareNo, I'd say it's just a general idea. Maybe Heydrich didn't like an ugly armoured vehicle right behind his probably very nice car.
shareHeydrich liked to drive very fast and would usually out pace his escort anyway (if he had one). An escort front and rear would be prferable but If he only ever had one escort vehicle surely behind him, where they would be able to see him and react to incidents would be preferable to being in font without eyes on and having to turn in an emergency?
