How I will rate Anthropoid
The trailer piqued my interest. If see Anthropoid I will likely compare it to Brad Pitt & Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds as well as Tom Cruise & Bryan Singer's Valkyrie given the subject matter.

shareI haven ´t seen Valkyrie but this should be historically accurate - as much as possible, I guess - since it had Czech producers and historic advisors, so it will be definitely less "wild west" than Basterds. However, people going to see this movie without a previous knowledge of the history and real Anthropoid operation (and how it ended), may be surprised by the ending. And I am curious how far they will go and if they will show "all" consquences following the assassination (like the destruction of villages Lidice and Ležáky and killing most of the people there)

I rate it a big fat zero!
shareAt least the uniforms were correct(thanks Mr H Boss)
Good start but poor middle part.
I gave up when I realised that the two girls were just window dressing and so cliche(i,ll distract two German solders by showing my legs!, and demonstrate that I can unload and make safe a weapon).
Just watch a doco or read a book about the event..
0 is to hi.
Why would you compare it to Inglorious Basterds? That movie is obviously fantasy. This movie is based on a true incident. I am looking forward to seeing it this weekend.
shareWhy would anyone compare `Tarantinos "tongue in cheek" fantasy story, which is fictional entertainment.......with a true historical account of an extraordinarily brave team of men who laid down their lives for what they believed in. Ill informed and cretinous are two words that spring to mind?
shareYeah I didnt understand it either, complete Apples to Oranges comparison.
Comparing thsi movie to Valkerie, would be the better film to use as comparison since that was based on real events.
To top it off, Tarantinos Bastards is a glorious re-make of a previously made film.
