Loved it. The only problem I have with this show is that it's not long enough.
Each episode needs to be an hour long. It goes by way too fast.

Really enjoyed the first episode of this season. Sometimes I feel like i kinda hate when they go for kind of cringey comedy with Ash, as they did at the beginning of the episode with that Jacksonville bar, but once they settled in and got back to the HORROR comedy it got great. And I really appreciated that this episode feels like it took itself slightly more seriously than some of the first season episodes did.

I share your opinion, the beginning was a bit bumpy, the Ash that is popular with crowds is not so funny, its funnier when everyone hates his guts or when he insults them or when they become deadites :D
So yeah pretty quickly when everything went to hell it became awesome again. The action and FX and pacing from then where top notch, loved the camerawork and it was again a very solid episode from my second favourite director of the series (Sam being the favourite of course)

Well its 33 minutes, most tv shows have 43 min. running time without commercial.
So this is 33 instead of 43, its ok.
Also its much longer than a movie (full season)
