Leofric's Fan Club

I love Adrian Bower's portrayal of Leofrics. His voice is the sexiest. His character is honorable, perceptive, yet cunning. What's not to love? Oh... except the stupid writers killed him off. His departure significantly reduces my interest in watching Season 2 and beyond. Adrian as an actor seems to be very versatile and shuns the limelight. He is more of a character actor. In interviews he seems thoughtful and introspective.

I ask fans of Leofrics/Adrian Bower to come forward and give this wonderful actor some fan lovin' words and praise!

I was very disappointed that they killed off this character. After Uhtred, he was one of the most interesting and the relationship developing between the two was a big part of the (short) first series.

Uhtred was a man-child. Leofrics is a classic man. I could not take my eyes off his performance.

Yes, but he's the main protagonist, so I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt. The point is that he'll grow.

Isn't it Leofric and not Leofrics? That's what my subtitles say.

I misspelled. I meant, "Leofric's Fan Club."

Yes, based on what others have said of the novels, it's the story of Uhtred from childhood until his twilight years. But personally, I'm not interested in Uhtred at all or protagonists in general. I find their strange friends much more interesting, like Leofric for instance. I'm not into Alexander Dreymon either.

Leofric was our favorite character, and he will be missed. We laughed so hard at "Nipple?"

It's based off the book series where Leofric was killed during the same battle. I think they could have had him killed off a little more honorable, however in the books they describe that the center front rank of the shield wall is extremely dangerous and many people try to avoid it. In the movie he is there to inspire the men with his courage and example which helped them win the battle, if that makes you feel any better.
