shareYes, but those things were happening before the "climactic" scene of him watching the DVD. Robyn is leaving him because of his actions and because she found out he's a bully. He lost his job for the same reasons, more or less. None of that has to do with whether or not weirdo raped his wife or not. The end of the movie is set up to make us wonder or not whether Weirdo is really the father or not. Which is why he says mysteriously "it's all in the eyes."
