Unexpectedly good film

I'd never heard of it until it showed up on UK TV - maybe it didn't have much of a release outside the USA. But I thought it was a brutally good and very well paced film with a good cast that gave their characters definition - which was key to making the film work so well.

What did you expect ? Its a Michael Bay Movie. They are usually great.

Maybe. To be honest the last of his films I liked was Armageddon and that was a long time ago now. Great film but not a terribly serious one.
