shareWell I think because Bay cut the politics out of the film, he was trying to give the audience just as much info as the soldiers had. So really this film just pays respect to them and in turn patriotism was an understandable approach to end the story (although it can seem somewhat shoved in your face at times). The story is about the soldiers, not politics.
shareYes it's propaganda. The US getting involved in others countries affairs for their own interest as normal. Libya was doing well peaceful and stable. The uprising was an opportunity for the US to take the advantage. Nothing new.

Was that sarcasm? O.o I really hope that was.
I don't know if I would call it a military propaganda film since in the movie the actual US military mainly sits on its own hands and doesn't do anything.
How is it "military?" NONE of those men were active-duty military: they were all private contractors working for the CIA.
Did you even watch it?
