9.5/10 Excellent Movie. Best War Film Since Saving Private Ryan

Let me start by saying that i dislike most Bay's films. Transformers are absolutely terrible. I did enjoy some of his 90's flicks though, like The Rock, it was excellent. But 13 Hours is perhaps Bay's best movie, yet.

The actors are good, but it still cannot compare to the action, effects and the hard work that went into this.

You feel like you're there. Absolutely, one of the best war films in the past 15 year. "13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi" is a stunning achievement for Michael Bay.

Regardless of how much money it's making, it is still the best war movie ive seen in years.

Michael bay and all those associated with this film should be very proud.

This was a proper Action movie, well done! Everyone should go see it in cinema.

This is a must buy on Blu-ray.

Funny you say that . I'm trying to get my cousin to see it so i told him its the best since SPR its that damn well made .

I really think it's worth a trip to the theaters. I don't go that often these days but this was worth my time.

Saving Private Ryan is a great film but it's still mostly fiction. (Yes, the concept was based on reality as was the depiction of the invasion but still...) To me, it's apples and oranges. I rated 13 Hours a perfect 10/10 because it does everything right for its kind of film.

Agreed. 13 Hours is absolutely riveting, and yes I felt like I was right there the whole time.

My only departure from the OP: 13 Hours is 10 out of 10 for me.

It is a quality product, unlike the awful Transformers films.

The film didn't perform as well as it should have.
(not talking about the overseas market)

I suspect many stayed away because they thought the movie was political and that it suggested Hillary Clinton gave a stand down order.

Agree that this movie is a really good action war movie but it aint better than Lone Survivor...that one is far better than 13 hours and BHD.
