Did anyone else have difficulty telling the characters apart?

I mean, in most movies I can say "Okay, that's the guy with the beard" but in this movie they all have beards. I was trying to differentiate them by how scruffy their beards were but in the end I had no luck. They all just looked like white guys with beards to me. I'm still not sure who the guy who died at the end was.

I felt the same way. The guy who died was the friend who picked him up from the airport, who had served with Jack many times.

I watched some interviews with the real guys and it helped to tell them apart in the movie. I thought they all had a pretty distinct personality in the film.
