What about the basement?

Okay so the cops show up and an ambulance takes him away but what about the basement area with the straps and syringe of semen laying there? Plus anyone with a hint of forensics experience would be able to find blood stains and DNA all over the home that doesn't match the two bugulars. And what about ballistics? So he was able to get the robbers gun and fire off rounds all through the home without ever calling the cops? Way too many questions and really no good answers.

Yeah, the whole thing was complete BS at the end. Fede Alvarez messed up the Evil Dead remake. For some reason, Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert want to keep producing his material. It's garbage.

Yeah, I thought it was a good movie overall, the suspense was great. But they really didn't bother to go into details about the aftermath of the burglary.
