Once sperm leaves a mans body it must be kept at body temperature for no longer then 20 minutes for the little spermies to live .

I think the less probable thing is that Rocky would have gotten pregnant anyways. Females only ovulate at a certain time.

He was going to keep injecting her until she did. It might take some time, but he'd hit the jackpot at some point.
