A question about Rocky (spoilers)

Why didn't Rocky bail out of this robbery when she read about who they planned to rob? A veteran who lost a daughter to an accident, caused by a young woman who had influential parents who were able to pay off the crime and allowing their daughter to go unpunished? And then, when Rocky sees the man is blind, she still goes ahead with the home invasion. She herself had been trapped as a child. It was hard to have any sympathy for her, even as the story unfolded. As the blind man said: 'None of this would have happened if you didn't invade my home'. I'm glad he lived because it just wouldn't seem right for Rocky to get away with his $300,000 without something hanging over her.
