You all are missing TWO huge little problems. Just sayin...

This train of thought about how the blind man could have the girl kidnapped, and how the investigators could miss all the potential incriminating evidence in his house (both when responding to the panic alarm, or during the initial investigation when the girl disappeared in the first place) is all well and good, but my concern is with the gun store that sold a blind man a gun. Cash only and shady, or licensed & legit transaction, I would have serious concerns about who sells a big ol' revolver to a blind dude.

Just saying.

And seriously "Sorry Sir, I had my tubes tied three years ago" would have really been a buzzkill for him when she's in that weirdo-army-sex-swing.

This would have really flattened the intensity of the movie's tension.

do we know when he has become blind? he might have purchased the gun before...

In some American states it is legal for a blind individual to own guns, so thats hardly the most incredulous thing in this movie.

😂 That's ridiculous. America's gun ownership stuff is so stupid.

Yep. I was wondering that too about the evidence in his basement. Clearly he was keeping someone there and I doubt he could have cleaned all of it up by the time the cops came.

Also I would have liked it better if he was just a sad blind man who lost his child while three trash kids robbed him. They didn't have to make him bad. I would have been on his side and those kids get sweet karma. I wasn't rooting for any of them. I wanted the blind man to die and all three kids too.

The only character I liked was the dog.

I think the dog had rabies.

Those points are easily addressed if you assume he had help from all his buddies in the Army, both with the kidnap and the guns.

What I what to know is how the dog pushed Alex through a window that had iron bars on it?

Coolflic,

"What I what to know is how the dog pushed Alex through a window that had iron bars on it?"

YES!! that was one of the more irritating parts of this movie! it's shown that every window on the 2nd floor have bars on them and yet Alex is knocked out through the 2nd floor window (above the kitchen area) that had bars on them!! i was like WTF?!
