The budget (which was closer to 10 mil) was so low most likely cause of not many locations, no huge actor salaries, not many characters either.

It's made 110 mil by now, and I'm incredibly impressed and delighted with its success. It still has other territories to open in October too. It's always satisfying to see a truly great horror film making a killing at the box office.

I came here specifically to post about the budget. What in the hell did they spend $10M on?!!! It certainly wasn't that house. Or the car. WTH?!!

I'm glad, this means we're going to see more from Fede Alvarez.

I liked Evil Dead, and I really enjoyed Don't Breathe. I'm excited to see what he does next!
