What would he have done after delivery??

He promised he'd let her go after 9 months (thus giving him a baby)...how would he have not gotten in trouble??

reply

That is a really good question because what would he have delivered the baby himself and how would he have done that if he is blind? What if the girl had given him a son would he have still keep her around and waited on her another 9 months for a girl think about it. I'm just thankful that the girl rocky didnt tell the old man that she had a daughter of her own because he probably would have went after the little girl

reply

He never said he wanted a daughter specifically, just a kid, period. He would've likely been content with a son.

I mean, really, how many times will you look under Jabba's manboobs?

reply

wackywhovian11....That wasn't Rocky's daughter. It was her sister.

reply

Oh? I thought was her daughter...oops

You do understand that he is an unhinged nutjob right?

You really expect someone who chains a woman up in his basement and repeatedly rapes her with a turkey baster so he can replace his dead daughter has a good grip on reality and has thought this all through?

reply

What?

The old guys plan was to replace the daughter he lost by making a new baby with the woman he kidnapped.

He still promised he'd let her go after delivering.

reply

By "letting her go" he meant sparing her of being prisoner and ending her life. He didn't mean you can just walk out the front door lol.

reply

He also said he'd give her her life back after 9 months.

reply

You are still missing the point, dumbass. You think a psychopáth is going to keep his word?

reply

I guess not. Why didn't he just adopted a kid.

reply

He would let her go and she wouldn't tell her parents or the police and she would have no feelings for her daughter... yeah, right... no way. The only explanation is the writers were trying to illustrate how delusional and insane he was, that's all. I think this was clearly pointed out when he killed 3 people including the kidnapped girl and was quick to replace her with a complete stranger that he would pump full of semen the very first day. Wacko!!!

reply

If she gave him a baby he'd release her though. Don't think he'd kill the woman who bore his child, even considering he forced her to.

reply

Yep. Wackos make the best sort of movies but this one isn't it.

reply

He either didn't think about it or he would probably use the money he got to dissapear with the baby, maybe to start a new life in California =P

reply

Well, there are a few plot holes, but every movie has.

reply

You need to look again at what a plot hole means, my friend. Every film doesn't have it.

True Self is righteous. It's a conspiracy to portray Man as a savage that needs taming and policing.

reply

If he really meant it, he did have, what $2 million dollars? (I was never sure how much was in the safe)

And perhaps he had wartime buddy connections?

Maybe $2 million is enough to start a new life with a new baby somewhere else. But like I've posted previously, he'd have stuck out, an old blind scarred guy with a baby. And law enforcement knew his identity.
