I'm a little disturbed by people who say they have no sympathy for the

thieves.

Granted, the thieves are terrible people and they deserved to be arrested and put in jail for awhile.

But just because you break into someone's house doesn't mean they're allowed to trap you in the house and hunt you down like an animal. That goes way beyond defending yourself and your home and into the homicidal maniac territory.

I was furious that oblivious bitch got away with money. She totally deserved the fate that await her.

If you cant live decent amongst the society, then you deserve every kind of justice jungle law prepared for you.

Yeah . . . . I hate that she survived too. That ruined the movie for me. She needed to die or be held captive. She certainly didn't deserve to get away w/all his money. Greedy b*tch!

reply

Yes! Thank you. The moment he locked them in the house and started hunting them instead of letting them out and call the police, he stopped being a victim. All sympathy went out of the window by then.

I think a lot of gun nuts haven't fulfilled their fantasy of killing someone who enters their home.

If he hadn't been a villain himself, I would say that he was totally justified. Invade someone's private sanctuary, you get what's coming to you.

Look at the bigger picture. Say the three thieves did make off with all his money.

Once that baby was born, that blind guy had to leave the area, with the baby. He intended to set her free and he'd have to get away or risk being found. She knows him, her whole rich family knows him, so he's gonna have to work hide to not be found PLUS he's a blind, maimed older man with a baby! You don't think that's going to make him easily spotable?

He's going to have to use a lot of that money to go into hiding and make a new life for him and his replacement kid.

So imagine if they did rob him, how much that'd tear him up to check his safe and it's all gone.

It's not just about breaking into someone's home - it can be about so much more.

Why did their lives being improved trump him improving his life?
