I'm a little disturbed by people who say they have no sympathy for the

thieves.

Granted, the thieves are terrible people and they deserved to be arrested and put in jail for awhile.

But just because you break into someone's house doesn't mean they're allowed to trap you in the house and hunt you down like an animal. That goes way beyond defending yourself and your home and into the homicidal maniac territory.

reply

Lol he tortures his daughters murderer. Given the chance how many parents would? Lol

reply

huh well okay. I'm actually a little disturbed by people who DON'T sympathize with the old man in this movie.

I think you are legally entitled to kill an intruder in self-defense, by the way.

There is a lot of moral grey area, but the intruders were not, like, mineshaft workers breaking into the house of their boss who had stolen their paychecks... They were spoiled little middle-class brats who endangered the life of someone far better than them, basically for the "lulz." there is something really abominable to me about that.

reply

You are disturbed that people dont sympathize with a guy whose sole actions we know of is kidnapping, torture, rape and murder?

>I think you are legally entitled to kill an intruder in self-defense, by the way.

ONLY in self defence. meaning the moment he isnt holding a gun aimed at you - you are no longer allowed to kill him.

Um, if someone broke into my house, stole my fortune WHILE taunting me, knowing well I had a disadvantage of being blind, and also having served as a soldier, likely having severe P.T.S.D. they reap what they sow.

Had Rocky been a 70 year old, overweight female, and her friendzone guy (forgot his name) been not as adorable and white-knightish, I doubt you'd feel the same.

reply

Guess they really shouldn't have broken into his home to try and steal his stuff. It's hard to feel sympathy for some *beep* breaking into the home of a blind war vet that lost his daughter. I'm not saying he was entitled to do the things he did but in no way can I feel sympathy for the home invaders after that.

reply

I only felt sorry for Cindy Roberts.

Does this make me a bad person?

Is it also bad that I don't give a *beep* what you think about me? ;D

reply

I just feel a bit sorry for the veteran. He almost got beaten to dead, his money was stolen and he had to drink his own cum. :(

reply

You mean the psychotic child murderer?

I don't care about a troll who doesn't pay for his opinion telling me how to review movies.

reply

I had sympathy for him in the trailer and hoped he beat the living stuffing out of the kids but that evaporated once the twist came, then I had no sympathy for any of them, except the dog.

OT question, are there abandoned suburbs in Detroit like that?

reply

Well, maybe people should not break into other people's houses. Best believe, if break into my home, the way they leave out there is in a body bag.

reply

If you break into someone's home with a gun, you deserve to get your ass kicked and shot in the face. The blind guy had the right to kill them. So absolutely no sympathy for the intruders at all.

reply

you deserve to get your ass kicked and shot in the face.

No you dont.

The blind guy had the right to kill them.

No he didnt.
