More sci-fi.. pls.. this is a good one..

Started watching, hesitatingly (if that is a word- non native), got hooked very soon, the characters are interesting and likeable and...
there aren´t many sci-fi shows, I wish there were more..
I quite liked extant. It was kind of new. I know many hated it.

does it tell something about the world now? maybe we don´t dream of what may come or what we might be?
I tried hard to understand what The game of thrones is about, why it is so popular.. Can´t.

Is it just me?

Seems to me the world gave up on dreaming of what might be, what all the scary (pretty scary now) or adventurous(can´t see it now, just scary) future there might be, turning back to the past and maybe, reflecting that life is a struggle with no future guarantee..

Sorry... just scattered thoughts.. didn´t want to make an article of it...

Does it make any sense?

Yep, I get it. Love scifi, wish there was more - that is, more well written shows with interesting stories and good actors. I don't get GoT either, or all the vampires and zombies. I like space travel, time travel, creatively different worlds and dreaming of a new experience and places that might someday exist.
