I must be missing something then. You say they dress sexier which I think they don't. Two looked sexier in that business outfit than her normal clothes and that's what I asked earlier that if the ship is thEir home and everyone is like family/friend, they should be little more casual in their appearance. Two is always dressed as if she is ready for battle and meet people like that corporate lady anytime.
Anyway that is a different matter. Coming to the sexual mores I'll say I do miss it like Barbarella even though she did it without a body contact (wasn't this there in Demolition Man too?). Not saying that you bring it there all the time as an excuse to show the nudies but only put it as an indication.
I remember something from John Varley's Gaea series. Cirocco Jones is the commander of this spaceship Ringmaster and in the first page if the book Titan (first of the trilogy). The writer goes on to mention how she had slept with her all the male crew members and with explanation of long travels, human needs, and how the people at NASA they tried to prevent it during early days of travel bY sending all female/male crews but were unsuccessful.
NoW a thing like this is something that I don't see happening on a TV show.
