Sure, things went BOOM!, but the episode didn't seem like much of a finale. I was expecting some slight resolution for, at least, some of the characters before leaving off on a cliffhanger or two, but it just seemed, well, POOF. Done. End credits. Am I the only one that feels that way?

I felt that S02E12 would have made a better cliffhanger - it almost had a "Red Wedding" feel to it.

It was too predictable. 12 wasn't that predictable.
Problem with the show is, regardless how much bonding the crew does, writing can make any one of them a traitor in just a few minutes. It doesn't even need to fit, because of the "24 hours ago" thing.
Time doesn't seem to matter much to these people. Portia Lin has 24 hours and they sit around yapping about meaningless things, then they act like they don't want their retinas scanned, as if Portia just pulled that scanner out of thin air.
I love how all the tech has to be explained as if these people never heard of it before, even though colonies who get around in gas powered engine driven trucks and sell fruits in flea market settings have the tech...
I've noticed that a lot, too. We're all thinking, "Hmmm... advanced tech" that we haven't seen and the next thing you know, they're in a wee village and folks are walking around with it or something so similar. Poorly written, IMO.

Yeah, but after 12 my first thought was, "Oh, great...they're just going to take us through each character betraying the others, and then realizing their mistake and coming back to their "real family."
Now *that's* too predictable!
Just note that the "Red Wedding" was not the last episode of the season for Game of Thrones either.
