After episode 12, the showrunner was ask this question: Obviously another sad aspect of that ending was Nyx (Melanie Liburd) finally learning the truth about her brother. Will we see more of her reaction in the near future?
JM: Weβre not done with that particular revelation. Their relationship is certainly going to be very different moving forward.
So does that hint that Nyx didn't die since there is still more to come between her and Ryo?

shareI wonder what these writers/ producers are thinking, first by killing Ed Burns clone Jace Corso (any relation to Mace Windu? Or Phil Corso???), and now Nyx??? I mean, she's not a terrific actress by any measure, but she can move like the wind and sure is easy on the eyes. Nix that (pun intended), she's beautiful, who am I kidding...? And killing these folks off doesn't make for a good show. It's kind of why Star Gate Universe died - they were ALWAYS in danger, on the edge of being out of fuel and food, or the ship damaged so much it could implode at any second.... probably same *beep* writers who killed STU are now working on this show (HINT! HINT! Dumb-ass Producers.. get NEW writing Talent, and stop blowing cocaine all over your office! Geezus, moron pretty boys connected how, exactly? From Temple, or sleeping with a vulture capitalist?)

From what I have heard on websites the actress chose to leave the show so it is possible she might return one day for one or two episodes but it doesn't look like she will ever be coming back in a prominent role which is a shame 'cause I thought Nyx was a good addition to the crew.
