I was so pissed they killed One he was the voice of reason of the group along with 5 and six and he died not know who set up to killing his wife!!!
shareIt is VERY frustrating that they just drop a plot line/mystery like that with not even a hint of resolution. At least pretend to care about the audience and make a half-arsed effort to end his storyline
shareActually I promised my self to quit watching if there wasn't some kind of explanation.
But then the story went on, and I just ignored my promise, and thought it would be resolved in the length of the season.
So now I am planning to watch season 3 (and 4 and 5) just to get an answer. I can't really quit anything sci-fi (and there is a LOT of bad stuff), and I am kind of used to not getting answers - all the cancelled shows that had no resolution, and ended on cliff-hangers. I was also a Lost fan, so...
Sorry, back to Corso/One:
I mean the story-lines are great, i love the characters (more or less) and as a Stargate fan I feel I owe it to (the writers) Joe Mallozi (sp?) - I know he is an excellent writer, but I also know it is a very difficult business.
Perhaps something happened, that was out of his hand? I don't know. I just know I always hunger for more new sci-fi stuff, so I can't quit :)
I really hope One was on the AU Marauder, will come back, and will kick ass all over the corporate phonies that engineered his and his wife's death.
If done well, it could be an epic story line.
Watching on Netflix now, just started season 2 over weekend. What the FRACK did they do with this storyline?! So DUMB they killed one off, especially the way it was done. It was so rushed, so cheesy, so fast, no explanation. He was basically the main character of the show, as others said the voice of reason and glue that kept the crew together. Very disappointed they killed him off.
Still highly enjoying season two. Dark Matter is a solid sci-fi show. I just am disappointed with the 180 they took with his character and storyline in particular.
One/Corso was my least favorite, really had no interest in him or his storyline, but I don't like not knowing why Three killed One's wife.

I wasn't really a big fan of the character when he was in the show either but I think they should let us know who killed One's Wife next season and it would be dumb if they dropped that altogether from the show and it was never mentioned again. Maybe One's Wife isn't really dead and is being held captive somewhere.
It would give them a new character since Nyx has left the show.
