Why is six such a weak character
The actor playing six dominated the screen when he was on Continuum. He had great lines and the execution was top notch. On Dark Matter it's like he is acting like a bad actor.

shareI havent watched Continuum and I'm sorry but you're too vague about what the actor is doing wrong, so I have no idea what your complaint is.

Because Travis is the heart of Liber8, and it's fight scences is very well-constructed, unlike those clumsy fighting in Dark Matter.
shareI rather agree, Six seems like a weak character compared to the others, moreso when you factor in Roger Cross's character from Continuum. Which i need to finish. Along with Lost Girl.
shareIt's a different character then what he was in continuum. Why should he be the same? As for the acting, that's the director's fault.
shareFor the moment, his character doesn't lend itself to dominate the screen.
In his past before the wipe, he was working undercover. He couldn't be seen as working too hard trying to please the boss of the rebels. With his assignment to the Raza crew, he became one of five equal partnerships. That situation didn't give him a chance to dominate with his presence.
After the wipe, he is aligned with five strangers; hardly a time to dominate. Once he became reacquainted with his identity as a member of the Galactic Police, he was subsumed back into the structure as a good soldier.
When he rebelled and returned to the Raza crew and tried to regain their good graces, humility didn't lend itself to dominance.
The situation that could have displayed his dominance was when Five was caught as a stowaway. He made his presence felt when he took responsibility of ridding Five from Three. But we never got to see what and how he persuaded/convinced Five to do the Wipe.

I disagree. His character might not be as good as Curtis in 24 and Travis in Continuum but out of all the male characters on this show I think he is the best and I was happy they didn't get rid of him.

i find six extremely compelling. his struggle to deal with having committed an act of mass murder (two acts, kindasorta) that led to killing one team and betraying another--while remaining a sympathetic character and a voice of morality--is my favorite arc on the show. his development seemed to fade in the more recent eps, but i love that they kept him on and let him redeem himself.
shareWell, either way I have no problems with Six as a character. Among the six core characters (One, Three to Six, Android) he is the most likeable male character and second most likeable after Five and before Android.
